High velocity trains are a common way of travelling in present-day Italy. Through the two Italian railway companies, Trenitalia and Italo, Venice can be reached from Rome in less than four hours and from Florence in just 2 hours. This means that you if you have a limited time to spend in Italy, you don't have to miss Venice, right now you can reach the lagoon city, visit it and get back within the same day.
If you prefer a half-day tour and you'll arrive within 10:30am, we'll be glad to meet you at the arrival platform of your train and be ready to start touring in Venice from the very first moment.
Otherwise take your time to wonder around on your own, have lunch and meet your guide in san Marco square in the early afternoon. Either way is just fine because railway companies offer a wide selection of departure times so you can tour and enjoy Venice with no rush.
If you'd like a full day tour instead, than we can meet even later than 10:30 at the station and the guide will be with you until your departure time.
Venice has never been so 'close' to Rome and Florence as nowadays, don't miss your chance to enjoy and visit this beautiful city getting there by high speed trains.
